Katie Branagan became a Sister of Theta Nu Xi in Spring 2009 and is a founder of the Transcendent Alpha Theta Chapter. She is currently a Junior studying Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies. As a Peer Facilitator, the Vice President of Feminists United, and the Treasurer of Ramapo Pride, Soror Branagan is a student leader on campus. She works as a Peer Career Advisor at the Cahill Center for Experiential Learning and Career Services.

    Why Theta Nu Xi?
Soror Branagan had never intended on joining a Greek-lettered organization until she found Theta Nu Xi. With TNX's STRONG emphasis on social justice, multiculturalism, scholarship, service, leadership, and sisterhood, how could she not want to be a Sister? All of these things, which are some of the things that make TNX unique as an organization, have always been important aspects of Soror Branagan's life and upbringing. Theta Nu Xi has motivated her to become an activist both on- and off-campus, and to advocate for causes such as AIDS awareness, cancer research, child trafficking, and more.
